A Fly Caught Photo Challenge on Instagram
Today is the start of our first Fly Caught Photo Challenge and we couldn't be more excited! Our reasoning for this challenge is simple….we want to see something a little different and more unique from ourselves and our friends in the fly fishing space when it comes to social media content. Because lets be honest, over the last few years Instagram/Facebook has become increasingly saturated with the “same old same old” when it comes to fly fishing photos/videos. Shoot, we are just as guilty of this as anyone…so we certainly aren't pointing fingers. But, while we are a fan of a lot of the current fly fishing photos/videos, we really want to start pushing ourselves (and hopefully others) to try and stretch for ever more unique posts. So we figured a structured photo challenge with some loose “inspirational prompts” might spark a little creativity for us all. Personally, we are going to start trying to adding a little context to our photos, show the hidden parts of fly fishing, and hopefully spotlight some of the little things that make this sport such an addicting activity. So, if you are interested in stepping up your game, then please accept our challenge and participate with us in the #flycaughtphotochallenge over on Instagram. But…if for some reason the desire to push yourself and others to create better photos/videos for all of our timelines isn't enough…how about participating because it could mean a

Fly Caught Photo Challenge Rules/Eligibility Details
This Fly Caught Photo Challenge shall run from August 1, 2019 to August 31, 2019 on Instagram. Participation in the challenge is open to all Instagram users, professionals and/or amateurs, regardless of age, gender or nationality. However, the chosen winner of the free mug and coffee/tea must be 18+ years of age and must have the prize shipped to a US address. All participants under 18 years of age require the permission of a parent or guardian to participate. By posting photos/videos, participants under 18 years of age indicate that they have obtained the required permission of a parent or guardian to participate. No purchase necessary to participate. Challenge photos/videos shall be limited to original works to which the participant holds all applicable rights. Participants can post both photos and/or video. The contest is not open to employees of Fly Caught Coffee & Tea, their direct partners, or their selected judges. To be eligible to be chosen for the free mug and bag of coffee/tea, participants must: post the photo/video on their Instagram timeline, include #flycaughtphotochallenge and #flycaught in the post, post the given photo/video by the end of the challenge month, and post the photo/video with a brief description of the context of the photo/video. Posting a photo/video for each challenge is not a requirement to be eligible to win the challenge. The winner of the free mug and bag of coffee/tea will be selected by a panel of three (3) Fly Caught Coffee & Tea selected judges. Photos/videos will be judged based on the judges preferences only. Judges will pick their “favorite” post based on no specific criteria out of all submissions that meet the “rules” as outlined here and published with the challenge notification Instagram post. Winner will be notified within 30 days of the end of the challenge and the details of shipping their prize will be determined at that point.
